Etsy is at it again!

Etsy is the just the most amazing marketplace.  I marvel at the warmth and consideration of the online interactions that I have as an Etsy shop owner.  Shown below is a recent convo that I had with a potential customer who then purchased (read from the bottom up). This is not a "one off" kind convo...As a general rule I find that Etsy customers tend to communicate openly and with an element of kindness and consideration that you don't see anywhere else online.  I am happy to be a part of such an enlightened segment of society!

Good morning!
I wanted to let you know I recieved the pin yesterday. I love it! It's even prettier in person. Do you have any kind of history on this pin, like where did it come from, who maybe owned it last? I love finding info about any vintage jewelry I purchase, if possible. :) Many thanks again Elaine! I'll leave your feedback now. Have a great week! Connie

Hello,
The Trifari company was in business from 1918-1970's and at one time was the second largest costume jewelry producer in the US. They were known for quality in design and craftsmanship. I'm not sure when your pin was manufactured but I would guess it is 1960's era. Trifari made tons on wheat themed pins, which you will find if you Google Trifari wheat pins.

Enjoy,
Elaine

Thank you for the reply Elaine! Would you be able to put this pin on reserve for me, until this Friday? I really love this piece.....anything 'wheat' like reminds me of my childhood in Kansas, amongst wheat fields. :) I already have a goldtone pin that resembles wheat and would love to add this to my collection of vintage pins. I look forward to hearing from you again, have a great evening! Connie

Pretty pin! Is the pin back working? It looks to be broken in the photo. Thank you! Connie
